Podcast 16: Quick to Hear and Slow to Speak

     James 1:19, “Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak.” Some people are good listeners. It seems to come naturally to them. But most of us need help in learning how to hear, listen, and encourage the speaker. In this podcast we examine the heart of a good listener, and skills which can be learned to foster safe honest communication.

     From maintaining eye contact, to asking questions in a spirit of openness, to being fully engaged, we will study how we can hear what is on the heart of the speaker and encourage them to talk freely.
